Boredom Compendium

I spend a lot of time on the internet. I am technically a receptionist, but I work at a very not-busy-at-all office. I have had one guest all day and answered maybe 5 phone calls. I read a lot of blogs and news. I may have mentioned this. I am going to start making a compendium of the more interesting things and sites I found while online.

This is the first of many, I can assure you.

1. Fuckyeahghosttowns: I have already spent way too much time at this website today. It reminds me of a book I ordered from Amazon a while ago and haven't read yet. (Story of my life.)

2. I know this one has gotten a lot of publicity lately, with the Mayor of New York touting it on twitter, but I have done a few of the exercises and it is very user friendly. CodeAcademy!

3.This one was actually shown to me, so I probably shouldn't claim it as my own, but damn. I want to live inside it. BOOKPORN

4. This is another tumblr I am way too obsessed with at the moment. I don't really know why. Half the people were only marginally famous before I could even walk and aren't that famous now. But the voyeur in me still loves it. In fact, that part of me might be the same part of me that still loves Grey's Anatomy. Oh well. Old Loves
